Palermo Falcone-Borsellino International Airport (IATA code: PMO – ICAO code: LICJ), also known as Punta Raisi, is located in the municipality of Cinisi, 32 km west of Palermo. It is the largest in Sicily and one of the largest in Italy, with 7.01 million passengers transported in 2019.
It is connected to the city of Palermo by motorway and suburban train.
Palermo airport was renamed Falcone-Borsellino in memory of the two anti-mafia judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, who were assassinated in 1992.
